Rethinking The dog design

Styles I Liked:

I found that I preferred simplistic animation design, As it does not only look better, but could simplify animation process. From this I experimented with different styles on Photoshop.

I tried a 'flat shaded' style and experimented with eye shape.

Eventually I found that the first one best shows the dogs personalty of being old and tired of his owners mishaps.

I took this and tried to make a design for fitting the personality on illustrator and came up with this design, taking inspiration from the styles I liked:

From this I developed this design to make it slightly more easy to animate and a little better overall design:

From this new design I added in more positions and poses (as well as angles):

After this I started researching dog walk cycles:

From This I started to create a walk cycle (by changing the legs into strokes).

After this I animated it from Illustrator to Photoshop. I repo

After this I added in double the frames.

I Tried some other styles, Which worked better but didn't fit the needed animation detail. (and style).
